In May 2023, members of the Managing Committee, along with our partners from the Water Diplomacy Center, attended the Baghdad International Water Conference (BIWC), where they hosted several sessions. The conference was a great success, showcasing Iraq’s political will to foster regional cooperation and seek joint solutions. The event was a valuable opportunity for Blue Peace ME to advance its vision, increase its visibility, expand its network, and build trust with Iraqi authorities and other key regional stakeholders in the water sector.
