Blue Peace
Blue Peace Middle East is an organization that operates in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey, with the goal of promoting cooperation relating to water resources. Our main objective is to ensure water, food and energy security while also protecting ecosystems in a changing climate.
With the support of experts, academics, politicians and journalists we engage in activities such as building trust among stakeholders establishing the Water Diplomacy Center in Jordan, exchanging knowledge and conducting research on shared river basins. Additionally, we provide support to entrepreneurs working in the field of water and sanitation.
As of January 2023, we have embarked on a phase focusing on resource management through the WEFE Nexus approach. This includes conducting research and educational programs as actively involving youth through our “Youth Fellowship Initiative”. We are also committed to expanding our reach by strengthening the Blue Peace Media Community and exploring the interrelation between water, energy, food systems along, with ecosystems.
